About Followeddivision Tree Service and How We Help
Get connected with a provider
Who we are
Followeddivision Tree Service is a referral service for homeowners in the Stamford area. We do not climb, cut, or haul. Independent local tree providers do that. Our job is to explain each step in plain words and connect you with a provider who can give you a quote.
Why this site exists
Say you have never hired tree work before. You search online and find a dozen names, strange jargon, and prices that do not match. It is hard to know who to trust or what to ask. This site was built for that moment. It offers short guides, calm steps, and a path to a real conversation with a provider.
How providers are matched
You tell us what you see. Maybe it is a leaning tree, a fallen limb, or a stubborn stump. Add your town, the rough size of the tree, and anything close by, like a roof, a fence, or wires. We pass those details to a provider in our network who serves your area.
Availability depends on the provider and the season. Many providers can respond quickly, especially after storms, but no one can promise a time. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What we expect from providers
Providers in the network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Give a written quote before any work starts
- Explain the plan in simple language
- Be open about what the price includes, such as cleanup and hauling
- Show proof of insurance when you ask
- Treat your home and yard with care
You should still ask questions and compare. Ask, then decide.
What we do not do
It helps to be clear about the limits of this service.
- We do not perform tree work. The provider does.
- We do not set prices. The provider sets the quote.
- We do not sign contracts for you. Your agreement is with the provider.
- We do not promise a specific result, time, or insurance outcome.
Some home policies may cover sudden damage, such as a tree falling on a structure. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
How we are paid
Providers in the network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. That is how this site keeps running. The price of your job is agreed between you and the provider, and it is shown in the written quote.
